Hey!
Imagine amateur football finally had the platform it deserves. Every weekend, millions of people write their own personal football stories – on pitches, in clubs and on the sidelines. We believe this passion deserves a digital home too. That's exactly what we're building every single day. I'm Tabea – and I'm looking for someone who wants to help push our mission forward. Is that you? Let's find out together.
Main information
Start: from August 2026 Location: Cologne/ Berlin Workload: Full-time Team: Brand Partnership
Is this a match?
Location: You’ll be based at our office in Cologne (Belgisches Viertel) or Berlin (Mitte) and should be on site at least twice a week. Experience: You have 6–8 years’ experience in key account management and feel confident in your role. Languages are no problem: You speak German and English fluently. Your connection to football: You're genuinely interested in amateur football and have a feel for what moves this community. Start-up spirit: You prefer to play an active part in shaping things rather than just going through the motions – even if that sometimes means tackling things without a ready-made roadmap.
Your playing field
We have recently secured some of the biggest brands in German sport, and these partners expect professional-level execution, not administrative work. At the moment, too much is concentrated in one place: strategic accounts, quality assurance and the development of the PM team all run through the Head of Brand Partnerships, creating a bottleneck. Without this role, we cannot scale either the quality of our activations or the team effectively – and we’ll miss out on growth opportunities with existing partners.
How you'll make a difference
End-to-end management of strategic brand partnerships – from kick-off to contract renewal, ensuring the highest quality and clear KPIs Independent management and development of a portfolio of strategic partner accounts (including our largest brands) Professional leadership and development of a team (and associated processes) of partnership managers – with clear standards for quality and impact Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders on the partner side Identifying and realising growth potential in existing partnerships – beyond the original scope
What you bring to the table
Brand partnerships: Proven ability to independently implement complex brand partnerships from start to finish – on time, on brief, on budget Leadership qualities: You share your knowledge, inspire others and help your team improve a little every day Stakeholder management: Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with senior stakeholders over the long term Confidence with KPIs and reports: You see figures as a tool for making decisions and measuring success Partner activation: You have a keen sense of what makes for strong partner activation – and recognise what isn’t working Solution-oriented approach: You come up with options, not problems Impact: You’re all about making a real impact – you know the difference between a project that’s simply been completed and one that really makes a difference Tools: Office 365, Keynote, Pitch, Google Sheets, Trello, Asana, Confluence, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive
Bonus
Background in media, brand marketing or sponsorship Experience in the sport/football sector Experience with mobile apps and digital platforms Experience with AI-supported work
Benefits
Be part of it from the start – Shape how Prematch grows and transforms amateur football. Competitive salary – You’ll be paid fairly and transparently. Employee participation (VSOP) — directly benefit from the company’s success. Three cool offices in Cologne, Berlin, and London — true startup vibes to work and grow together. Want to visit another office? We support that too! Remote work — depending on your distance to the office, you work 1–3 days a week onsite and the rest flexibly remote ( working from home at the start and end of the week is quite popular ???? ) — whatever suits you best. Tech & Product roles sometimes offer 100% remote. Remote, even from afar — Whether it’s a week of sunshine abroad or a few days with family — we allow flexible work from outside your usual location. Team spirit — whether in the office or at home, we use cool tools and a virtual office to keep the team tightly connected. Modern IT equipment — We provide the tools and devices you need to be productive. 27 vacation days per year — For your rest and to recharge.
