What is a Surgical Technologist?
A Surgical Technologist is a member of the operating room that assists surgeons and other surgical staff during surgical procedures. They make sure the operating room is sterile and the needed equipment is available.
Program Overview
The intent of this program is to provide growth opportunities at Alomere Health for employees to take their career to the next level as a Surgical Technologist at Alomere Health.
• Alomere Health will pay 100% of all expenses directly associated with tuition/books/scrubs/etc. This is a two (2) year Associate's degree.
• Employees will remain employed throughout their schooling. Department leadership will work with the employee to balance the work schedule with the school schedule.
• The employee’s current benefits (medical, dental, vision, etc.) will remain in place even though employee’s may be working less than their hired status (FTE).
• Benefit time off will continue to accrue based on hours paid.
• If the employee completes the Surgical Technologist program, but does not pass the Surgical Technologist Certification, maintain passing grades (C or above), meet minimum program requirements or remain employed at least 0.5 FTE for three (3) years post-graduation, the employee will be responsible to pay back 100% of the employer paid program costs to Alomere Health.

Position Objective
