Operations Supervisor – Dedicated Transportation Excel Courier | Ashburn, VA | Full-Time | On-Site About This Role We're looking for a results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead our Dedicated Transportation team. In this role, you'll leverage your leadership skills to ensure on-time delivery excellence while building strong client relationships. You'll oversee day-to-day operations, supervise drivers and contractors, and drive continuous improvement—all while working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment. What You'll Do Lead and supervise day-to-day operations for Dedicated Transportation clients Manage independent contractor driver assignments and coordinate backup coverage as needed Ensure your team has the orientation and resources they need to succeed Address performance issues and client concerns promptly, keeping management informed Drive continuous process improvement and maintain high client satisfaction Communicate clearly with all stakeholders about performance, updates, and changes Build trusted, lasting relationships with clients Prepare and submit reports on operational activities What We're Looking For Experience & Skills: 3+ years in transportation management 3+ years in people management B2B management experience Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) Comfortable with evolving technology and digital tools Personal Qualities: Grit, energy, and a hands-on approach Action-oriented with a results-driven mindset Player-coach mindset—you're ready to lead and do the work Strong business acumen combined with innovative thinking Composed under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities Excellent at giving clear, actionable instructions Skilled at analyzing data and managing multiple projects at once Leader who develops accountable, high-performing teams Work Environment This role operates in an office setting, in the field, at client sites, and occasionally in a warehouse. You'll use standard office equipment and occasionally lift packages up to 50 lbs. Evening and weekend hours may be required to support our 24/7/365 operations.
