Salary: $32 - $41 per hour
A bit about us:
We are an aerospace component manufacturing company known for our complex machinery. We are growing, yet established and work with some of the biggest names in the aerospace and defense industries. Currently, we are hiring for a CNC Machinist in Canby, Oregon. This is a weekend shift, Friday through Sunday working a 12-hour shift. We are hiring for the night and day shifts.

Job Details
2-5 years machining experience.
Machine part in accordance with current process router and work instructions
Ability to use dimensional measuring tools including Micrometer, Calipers, Pin Gages, and Bore Gages.
Verifies part conformance per work instructions and records required dimensions on record sheet
Sets up recurring production parts on 3, 4 and 5 axis machine centers
Monitors and adjusts cutting tools. Replaces worn tools and sets/resets tool offsets
Can dial in vices and indicate holes for validation or setup
Sets up and proves out new or existing CNC programs 3, 4 and 5 axis machine centers
Review new programs prior to start in CAD program system or CAD program verification system a plus
Works directly with programming & Quality department to resolve program issues
An understanding of shop math skills such as Trigonometry, Metal removal calculations, Surface Speed calculations.
Proficiency in Blueprint reading and application of GD&T a plus
Experience with probing and variable assignments a plus
Previous set-up and prove out experience
Advanced knowledge of G and M codes for CNC machines
Ability to review part program in CAD system and or CAD program verification system a plus
