Position Summary:
The position is responsible for care for families antepartumto postpartum and newborn cares.
In this position it is the expectation ofthese professionals to be responsible for all aspects of care in the FamilyBirth Center.
Responsibilities include care of the antepartum, intrapartum, andpostpartum, mother and stabilization and routine care of the neonate. Providesdirect patient care in listed setting and/or any nursing capacity, as needed.
To complete other duties including, but not limited to secretarial,housekeeping, etc. to keep the department runningefficiently and maintain excellent patient care.

Essential Job Functions
The Department of Philosophy & Religion seeks to hire adjunct faculty for various courses for the Spring 2026 semester.
Course preparation and delivery, grading, and maintaining of office hours. Student engagement is expected. Face-to-face delivery at our Boone campus is preferred, but synchronous or asynchronous online delivery with virtual office hours will be considered.
Courses may include REL 1110 Religion and Imaginary Worlds, REL 2010 Old Testament: Jewish Scriptures, REL 2020 New Testament, REL 2300 Religion and the Good Life, REL 3115 Religion and the Arts, and REL 3770 Religion, Gender, and the Body. Descriptions of these courses, with the General Education requirements that they fulfill, can be found in the current Undergraduate Bulletin. Other courses dependent on department need and instructor expertise.
