DUTY MANAGER - STARBUCKS, LIVERPOOL AIRPORT
Please note, this is a Full Time role.
Pay Rate: 13.30 per hour + as a little incentive, you will earn an extra 1.50 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 6 am, bringing your rate of pay to 14.80 per hour.
Hours of operation are 3 am to 11 pm. Working flexibly across weekdays, weekends, bank and public holidays.

Working with your store supervisors, you'll lead the shift, working with your team of baristas to create our Starbucks Experience for our customers with high quality service, beverages and products, whilst creating our third place environment.

Working closely with your store manager, you'll get to know your market and the competition to identify opportunities to drive store profitability and your business forward. Working in one of our fast-paced stores, a typical day could include:
- Executing store operations during scheduled shifts, including organising opening and closing duties, upholding Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift
- Collaborating with the store leadership team to guide great shifts, providing support to partners, and inspiring the Starbucks Experience for both partners and customers.
- Inspiring and motivating the store team to create best moments for our partners and customers, including pre-empting and adapting to any potential issues and addressing/resolving any that arise to optimise the customer experience

Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.
• Housing and meals is a taxable benefit
• End‑of‑season retention bonus up to $1.00/hr
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation and verification of daily cash reports
- Ensuring accurate cash, debit and credit card transactions
- Training staff and ensuring everyone feels confident in their role
- Supervising and supporting on the floor
- Coordinate Food & Beverage orders and inventory
- Update staffs schedule and changes
- Interacts with customers and maintains the highest level of customer service
- Involved in the making of and receiving food / drink orders
- Receive payment for all services provided to the customer
- Listen and respond to customer complaints
- Ensure the work area is clean and organized at all times
- Relieve Servers as required
- Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
- Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated;
- Natural ability to lead a team
- Detail oriented with good communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Some accounting experience an asset and experience with Word and Excel
