Job Description
Responsible for the management of all aspects and functions of the Starbucks outlet, in accordance with hotel and Starbucks standards. Directs, implements and maintains a service and management.

- Meet with the Chef to review menu items and 86'd items; update board throughout shift. Ensure that staff are aware changes.
- Periodically check with the Front Desk to review updates on house count and arrivals.
- Review sales and beverage costs for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track actuals against budget.
- Develop strategies for upselling.
- Prepare weekly work schedules in accordance with staffing guidelines and labor forecasts. Adjust schedules throughout the week to meet the business demands.
- Ensure that staff report to work as scheduled. Document any late or absent employees.
- Coordinate breaks for staff.
- Assign work and side duties to staff in accordance with departmental procedures. Communicate additions or changes to the assignments as they arise throughout the shift.
- Conduct pre-shift meeting with staff and review all information pertinent to the day's business.
- Inspect grooming and attire of staff; rectify any deficiencies.
- Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.

Fonctions essentielles :
Ouvrir et fermer
• S'assure que tous les directeurs adjoints et le personnel reconnaissent l'importance de fermer le restaurant afin de le préparer à l'ouverture, et tient les responsables de quart responsables de l'exécution de toutes les listes de contrôle/exigences de fermeture et d'ouverture.
Dotation en personnel/déploiement
• Comprend, adopte et démontre de manière constante les comportements managériaux définis visant à créer un environnement où l'engagement des employés est favorisé.
• Il déploie le personnel et les ressources afin de maximiser la rentabilité du restaurant et assume la responsabilité du compte de résultat.
• Il attribue les tâches et les activités, établit les horaires et veille à ce que tous les quarts de travail soient couverts.
• Fournit au personnel du restaurant le soutien, l'encadrement et les encouragements constants nécessaires à la réalisation des objectifs commerciaux.
• Mène des entretiens d'embauche, prend des décisions concernant l'embauche, le licenciement, l'avancement, la promotion ou tout autre changement de statut des employés de l'unité. Contribue à promouvoir HMSHost comme employeur de choix au sein de la communauté locale.
• Veille à ce que la philosophie de diversité et d'inclusion de l'entreprise et de la succursale soit comprise et activement mise en œuvre au sein du restaurant.
• Assure l'intégration et le départ de tous les employés du restaurant, y compris toutes les activités liées au respect des exigences en matière de badges, à l'orientation, à la formation en cours d'emploi et aux autres formations/processus de l'entreprise.
• Il lit et comprend les données et les rapports financiers et opérationnels afin de suivre les progrès accomplis dans la réalisation des objectifs de l'unité et affecte des collaborateurs à la réalisation de ces objectifs.
• Reconnaît les contributions et les performances du personnel du restaurant, notamment en utilisant les outils et le matériel de Shout-Out ; soutient les initiatives de reconnaissance de l'entreprise et élabore et met en œuvre des plans visant à motiver l'équipe.

Disponibilité des produits/Équipements de travail
• Veille à ce que les commandes quotidiennes soient préparées et que les unités soient approvisionnées avec les niveaux de produits appropriés, et forme les associés à ces procédures de commande.
• Supervise la réception des marchandises, le traitement des factures et la prise de contact avec les fournisseurs pour les problèmes liés à la chaîne d'approvisionnement/à la disponibilité des produits.
• Maintient une maîtrise des systèmes et outils de gestion de l'information tels que MIV, Crunch Time, Kronos et autres programmes utilisés par l'entreprise.

Connaissance/Maîtrise de la marque
• Évalue les compétences des employés du restaurant et organise et coordonne les activités de formation en cours d'emploi et autres activités de formation/d'éducation, selon les besoins.
• Elle encourage la technologie et incite les employés à comprendre et à adopter les nouvelles technologies mises en œuvre par l'entreprise.
• Maîtrise parfaitement toutes les normes de la marque, les conventions collectives, les contrats de location et toutes les procédures et protocoles applicables afin d'optimiser les relations entre la marque, le propriétaire et les employés, et forme les collaborateurs à ces normes.
• Élabore et met en œuvre des stratégies créatives pour augmenter les revenus
Visuel/Ambiance/Attrait
• Gère les activités quotidiennes des employés au sein d'un ou plusieurs restaurants ou points de vente définis.
• Fait preuve de discernement et de jugement pour résoudre les questions et les problèmes des clients et des collaborateurs, et détermine quand il convient de référer les problèmes plus complexes aux cadres supérieurs.
• Il exploite les points forts de ses collaborateurs et leur fournit un retour d'information continu qui reflète leurs progrès par rapport à leurs objectifs de développement individuels et aux objectifs de l'entreprise.
• Met en œuvre les programmes marketing selon les directives d'OSC ou les initiatives de la marque, se conforme aux activités promotionnelles, génère des revenus et interagit avec les équipes de soutien pour la programmation AB, la matrice des ventes, la programmation Coca-Cola ou autres, selon les directives.

• Forme les nouveaux gestionnaires et associés aux protocoles de contrôle du bien-être et respecte les nouvelles exigences liées à la COVID-19.

Lien hiérarchique et autres informations importantes
• Le poste GMII tel que décrit relève de la loi sur les normes équitables du travail en tant que poste exempté, en vertu des tests d'exemption administrative et d'exemption exécutive.

Qualifications minimales, connaissances, compétences et environnement de travail :
• Les directeurs généraux de niveau II (GMII) doivent posséder des compétences avérées et documentées en matière de gestion de restaurants (restauration rapide, restauration décontractée, service à table, établissements de complexité similaire, syndiqués ou non, etc.) correspondant au type de restaurant auquel le poste est attribué. Ils doivent assumer la responsabilité globale du succès et de l'échec du restaurant sous leur direction, tel qu'il est évalué par le compte de résultat sur plusieurs exercices annuels pour le type de restaurant concerné. De manière générale, une expérience d'au moins trois ans en gestion de compte de résultat de restaurant, combinée à une expérience globale de cinq à sept ans dans le même type de restaurant, est généralement requise pour réussir.
• L'obtention d'un diplôme en gestion des services alimentaires ou en arts culinaires peut remplacer une partie de l'exigence d'expérience professionnelle requise pour chacun de ces postes.
• Fait preuve de compétences en gestion d'équipe, en délégation et en résolution de problèmes, ainsi que d'une capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités simultanées.

• Se espera que el puesto de GMII trabaje en un horario variado y rotativo para estar en el lugar en varios días y horas de funcionamiento cada semana; algunos turnos de apertura, durante algunas partes del día con mucha actividad y durante algunos turnos de cierre para supervisar las actividades laborales de los asociados del restaurante durante estos diferentes días y horarios.
Requisitos mínimos, conocimientos, habilidades y entorno de trabajo:
• Los gerentes de restaurante (GMII) deben tener habilidades documentadas y demostradas para gestionar los tipos de restaurantes (QSR, restaurantes informales, servicio completo, de complejidad similar, con y sin sindicato, etc.) a los que se les asigna el puesto, incluyendo la responsabilidad general del éxito y el fracaso del restaurante bajo su liderazgo, según lo determine el éxito de la cuenta de pérdidas y ganancias de varios ciclos anuales para el tipo de restaurante asignado. En general, para tener éxito, se requiere un mínimo de 3 años de experiencia en gestión de pérdidas y ganancias de restaurantes, con una experiencia general previa de 5 a 7 años en el sector.
• La graduación de un programa de Gestión de Servicios de Alimentos o Culinario puede sustituir una parte del requisito de experiencia basada en el tiempo para cada uno de estos roles.
