- Sales Budget Achievement
- Support all department teams in every capacity to achieve budget.
- Analyze and monitor store KPIs daily, weekly, and monthly to implement action plans to achieve target KPIs.
- Develop a business plan and coordinate execution and implementation cross-functionally with each department's support.
- Communicate business plans and strategies to the Director of Retail Operations and GM of Canada
- Identify opportunities to improve performance. Work with home office partners to develop strategies to raise performance.
- Maximize sales by category.
- Analyze performance by category and partner with the Merchandising team to validate the action plan to drive performance.
People & Leadership
- Lead and coach each direct report to perform at their highest potential.
- Accountable for the growth and development of direct reports to succession them for next-level roles
- Continuously monitor the execution of Retailors selling techniques to achieve the best quantitative and qualitative business results (i.e mystery shops)
- Constantly coach the sales team on how to deliver a premium shopping experience, observing the sales floor and providing feedback accordingly
- Attract, motivate & retain staff.
- Work together with Talent Acquisition in recruiting members according to the brand vision and image
- Manage performance review and development plans for all direct reports. Address performance issues and create development plans.
- Develop a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance.
- Staff optimization vs business need
- Approve and monitor store schedules, ensuring adherence to handbook policies, including blackout dates & overtime rules.
Store Operations:
- Excellence in Store Experience and Image
- Guarantee the implementation of the VM guidelines by brand standards
- Ensure retail operations procedures and best practices are being adhered to
- Well-versed in the Process and Procedure Manual
- Partner with the Director of Retail Operations to ensure adherence to loss prevention policies and procedures and proactively identify trends that support achieving all inventory goals.
- Remain up to date on all policies and procedures in the Employee Policy Manual

- Minimum five years of Retail leadership experience in a multi-department management role
- Proven business, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines with minimal supervision.

The annual base compensation for this position generally ranges from $65,800 - $98,700 CAD/annually. Actual compensation will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role the individual will be working in a team environment in which their department will be overseeing the replenishment of goods in the selection area. They will also be working in alignment with the other departments of the distribution centre to process materials in a quick and efficient manner.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree or related discipline and at least 3 years management experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment; or an additional 2 years in lieu of a degree.
- 3 plus years of experience managing employees required.
- PC skills required, experience with Excel, Word, SAP, WMS, DCMS and Kronos would be a plus.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Strong decision making and problem-solving skills, attention to details, working well under pressure and able to meet deadlines required.
- Ability to access all areas of the warehouse and to be able to lift up to 50lbs.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
The Replenishment team will be restocking product on an hourly basis in the selection area. During which time, each carton/item that arrives will be collected, scanned, and deposited into selectable locations. It is the Coach’s duty to manage these key functions for accuracy, and productivity. Duties in the Replenishment department also include, quality checks, recyclable carton collection and other functions as required by the business. Flexibility will be key to this department as cross-functional work with the Selection team occurs constantly.
- You will be working in a fast paced, multi-functional environment.
- You will be building/overseeing a team. Duties of which include departmental/shift goal setting, as well as team member goal setting.
- The successful candidate will be working in collaboration with all internal partners of the distribution centre.
- You will be working and implementing new processes and procedures that will be aligned with the new direction/practices of the business.
- You will be responsible for moving team members based on where the workload is available.
- Able to work overtime with little or no notice before or after schedule shift.
