A caregiver in this position works Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, no weekends and holidays, with on-call requirements as needed.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
• Manage the daily operations of the patient registration and access functions.
• Assist with developing specific departmental goals, standards and objectives that directly support the organization's strategic plan and vision.
• Manage caregiver relations, including performance management, caregiver satisfaction and conflict management.
• Perform and oversee scheduling, recruitment, payroll and student engagement.
• Monitor department budgets, regulatory compliance, department contracts and vendor relations.
• Assist with developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards and initiatives.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Five years of experience in healthcare or customer service management OR finance, HIS, IT or nursing supervisory experience in a high-volume facility
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
• Additional fellowship or internship level experience preferred but not required
• Registration workflow experience
• Familiarity with operational audits and scheduling
• Experience with EPIC
• ED registration experience
• Ability to work independently
• Detail-oriented
• Strong adaptability and resilience
• Conflict resolution skills
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
• In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
• In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:
• Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Pay Range
Minimum Annual Salary: $63,250.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $96,467.50
