Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, administer, and support Check Point security gateways (including VSX)
- Manage and optimize Check Point firewall rulebase for performance and visibility
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Check Point firewalls in enterprise environments
- Design and implement security policies aligned with business and compliance requirements
- Administer Cisco Secure Firewall, Cisco ASA, and data center networking solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and validate security controls
- Implement and manage security features such as:

Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Ultra-Low Latency Network Specialist to maintain the stability and performance of a global trading colocation network spanning over 30 data centers across AMER, EMEA, and APAC. This role is key to supporting ultra-low latency trading operations through exceptional network design, optimization, and troubleshooting. You'll work closely with trading system developers to ensure a robust, high-speed infrastructure that underpins global financial markets activity.
Responsibilities
- Architect, engineer, and deploy ultra-low latency network infrastructure within global colocation data centers.
- Oversee installation, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of network and security hardware and software.
- Serve as the L3 escalation point for performance and availability issues in the colocation network.
- Maintain operational control and performance reporting to continually optimize trading infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and monitoring systems.
- Collaborate with developers and trading technology teams to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Drive network automation and efficiency improvements through scripting and innovative solutions.

Requirements

SUMMARY
This position will be called upon to represent the Global Technology & Operations organizations by internal and external organizations. An individual in this position is responsible for making production systems more reliable by performing day-to-day operations including system monitoring, troubleshooting, problem identification, resolution, and restoral following established and documented procedures and with minimal direction.
