In this position, you'll work with a variety of heavy industrial machinery, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, performing repairs, and executing preventive maintenance to reduce downtime. Pay:   $33–$42/hr base pay   + year-end bonus $2/hr  shift differential for hours worked 5pm-5am  $85K–$107K average annual income based on experience Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 5pm-5am Location : Douglassville, PA (Serving Reading, Pottstown, Phoenixville, Exeter, Birdsboro, Boyertown, and surrounding areas) Position: Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for their next  Industrial Maintenance Mechanic .  Our technicians are highly proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting our production equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: You’ll be hands-on repairing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment, including: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and augers. Leads troubleshooting and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pressure issues, large cylinders, sensors, proportional valves, solenoids & pumps Stick welding in various positions, locations throughout the factory utilizing various types of joints Leads emergency breakdowns to minimize unscheduled downtime of production equipment. Splice, track, tension, align and replace components on conveyor systems Replacing wear parts by disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and refurbishing or replacing components.  i.e.- gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, bearing, etc. Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, laser alignment tools and various other tools. Repair, install and dismantle heavy industrial production equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.). Enter daily tasks, parts used and time into work order system Diagnose and replace faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, load cells, switches, contactors, motors, etc. Reference technical documentation, electrical schematics, equipment manuals and service instructions to complete work accurately Qualifications: 3 + years’ experience working in Heavy Industrial Maintenance.  Technical degrees/certificates in welding, electro-mechanical, electric or related field preferred Previous experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts Advanced stick welding and fabrication skills repairing heavy industrial equipment Basic understanding of motor controls, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and VFDs (variable frequency drives) is preferred Basic industrial electrical experience Experienced with rigging, hoisting, and equipment installation Experienced with precision alignment and fine adjustments Proficiency in precision measuring utilizing high-accuracy tools like micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, etc. to verify tight tolerances in manufacturing Proficient with use of power tools and fabrication equipment. i.e. grinders, drills, welding, saws, press, bearing heaters, torch, etc. Experienced working with CMMS and MS Office Suite Why Techo-Bloc? We’re looking for a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, hands-on repairs, and working with automated equipment. Estimated annual earnings: $85,000–$107,000 ($33-$42/hr + annual bonus) Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM ($2/hr shift differential) What You’ll Do You’ll help maintain, troubleshoot, and improve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, belts, chains, drives, sensors, PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and VFDs. Read schematics, use diagnostic tools, and identify parts needed to complete repairs efficiently. Perform preventive maintenance to improve uptime, reliability, and equipment performance. Fabricate, weld, repair, and modify components as needed. Document work, labor hours, and parts usage in the maintenance system. Follow all safety procedures and support a clean, team-focused work environment. What We’re Looking For 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or heavy industry. Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Experience with 480VAC, 120VAC, 24VDC, and 4–20mA systems. Ability to read electrical schematics and use multimeters, meggers, and related tools. MIG/Stick welding, fabrication, rigging, and precision measuring tool experience. Knowledge of motors, drives, conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. A safety-first mindset with strong teamwork and communication skills. Preferred Experience Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, electro-mechanical, welding, or a related field. Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, VFDs, CMMS software, and Microsoft Office. Experience with SEW, Siemens, Lenze, or Allen-Bradley drives. We are seeking a hands-on  Maintenance Supervisor  to lead maintenance operations at our Douglassville, PA facility. This role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a skilled team of industrial maintenance technicians. Pay:  $46-$48/hr  (based on experience) +  year-end bonus Schedule:  Monday – Friday 7:30am-5:30pm (schedule can vary) Responsibilities: Plan and oversee daily maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs across all shifts. Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.). Plan and lead maintenance teams and external vendors during plant shutdowns and equipment installations. Train multi-craft maintenance technicians, ensuring that all employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes. Lead breakdown response and troubleshooting efforts and prioritize critical repairs to minimize downtime. Connect to PLC’s and VFD’s using laptop software to identify faults, monitor inputs/outputs, and support production troubleshooting. Support welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed. Identify and upgrade electrical components (VFD’s, I/O cards, PLC’s, etc.) to ensure proper inventory of spare parts are readily available. Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO’s, OL’s, contactors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components. Manage and oversee outside contractors, vendors, and service providers performing work onsite. Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance procedures in WO system. 5+ years of heavy industrial maintenance experience 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience Proven experience leading teams in both electrical and mechanical systems. Experience troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, & Allen Bradley Experience in concrete, foundries, aggregates, mining, or other heavy industrial manufacturing operations (preferred) Industrial electrical experience in PLC’s and plant automation.
