We are seeking an experienced and motivated Civil Engineering Team Lead to guide a group of engineers in delivering high-quality design solutions for a variety of commercial, industrial, energy, water/wastewater, and community projects throughout the Midwest. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers and designers, overseeing day-to-day project execution and team performance. Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines including Surveying, Geotechnical, Structural, Traffic, Transportation, and Environmental Engineering. Oversee and review the development of construction documents, including plan sets, specifications, and bid packages. Manage complete site civil design for private development projects, including site layout, grading, utility and SWPP plans. Oversee preparation of feasibility studies, due diligence reports, zoning analyses, stormwater modeling and design, cost estimates, and detailed engineering plans. Perform and review design calculations, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Lead communication with clients and reviewing agencies to resolve comments and ensure smooth project approvals. Foster a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering PE license in Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania or Indiana required 8+ years of experience in civil engineering, including experience in a leadership or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Ten States Standards and/or Detroit Water and Sewerage Department (DWSD) specifications preferred. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D required. Proven experience in independent preparation of stormwater management reports and designs. Solid understanding of design and plan preparation for site development projects. Experience with roadway design and survey coordination is a plus. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to guide junior staff and engage effectively with stakeholders.

As a Vac Truck Operator at Atakapa Services , you will play a crucial role in our operations by operating and maintaining vacuum trucks to ensure the safe and efficient removal of various materials. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Key Responsibilities: Operation of Vacuum Trucks: Safely operate vacuum trucks to collect, transport, and dispose of industrial waste, liquids, sludge, and other materials. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures during the operation of equipment. Maintenance and Inspection: Conduct routine maintenance checks on vacuum trucks to ensure proper functioning. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any issues promptly. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to each job and material disposal. Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and clients to coordinate job tasks effectively. Emergency Response: Act as part of the emergency response team in case of spills or accidents, following established protocols. Disaster response such as hurricanes.
Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements. Proven experience operating vacuum trucks or similar equipment. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Comfortable working in various weather conditions. Good physical fitness and stamina.
