Job Purpose: Concrete Specialists pour, level, and smooth concrete for surfaces such as roads, curbs, floors, and sidewalks.  Duties may include cutting expansion joints with a power saw, aligning forms to desired depth and pitch, directing the casting of concrete, preparing and cleaning surface areas, and completing moldings using a variety of hand-held and power tools. Essential duties and responsibilities: Sets forms that hold the concrete in place Cleans and inspects surfaces for pouring issues Directs the casting of the concrete with the truck driver Pours, smooths, and levels concrete using a rake, trowel, float, and screed (includes handheld tools and power tool versions)  Monitors the effects of the weather on the curing process  Applies sealing and hardening components  Safely operates power vibrator to ensure the concrete is compacted  Molds and constructs expansion joints using joiners and edging tools  Polishes surface using a power surfacing machine  Maintains and provides basic hand tools necessary for the work  Performs related duties including, but not limited to, light demolition or grading, as assigned  Maintains compliance with all company policies and procedures Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ work experience as a concrete laborer or mason Knowledge of hand-held and power tools including power vibrators, polishers, cutting saws, and edging tools Understands and follows verbal and written instructions Carpentry skills preferred Basic blueprint comprehension preferred Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Company paid Short- & Long-Term Disability Insurance Physical Requirements:  Ability to stand for long periods Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours Ability to kneel for long periods Ability to work in harsh weather conditions #cms1

Job Purpose: The Construction Surveyor provides construction stakeout tasks, along with other related construction surveying needs such as as-builts. Job Purpose: The Site Foreman is a highly functioning, proactive, skilled leader who excels at communication, planning, problem solving, and fostering a safe, productive team environment. The Site Foreman will have a strong emphasis on earth moving activities and is responsible for specific site coordination and administrative functions. This position is primarily a hands-on role and is a secondary field contact for projects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform CMS preconstruction duties including layout, site facilities and coordination of deliveries. Attend all preconstruction activities Ensure proper field documentation is in the field. Assist Superintendent/General Superintendent with scheduling manpower and equipment. Monitor production and clearly and consistently report results and status daily to the Superintendent/General Superintendent/Project Manager. Coordinate subcontractors. Place will-calls for concrete. Take off materials. Release materials for delivery, confirm delivery against Purchase Order. Keep PA One Call current. Complete and maintain correct detailed daily reports, morning huddles, accident/incident/near miss reports. Education, Skills and/or Work Experience Requirements: Thorough understanding of contracts and documents, specifically project plans and specifications, estimate bid including production and quality control. Strong understanding of equipment and manpower utilization for project sites. Ability to read drawings, plans, and convey this information to others. Maintain and exemplify a positive attitude and work atmosphere in all situations. Ability to provide supervision, operate, demonstrate proper operations and maintenance of construction equipment, such as skid steer, excavator, roller, laser, auto level and total station as well as power tools and basic hand tools. Team player – treating and encouraging team members with respect. Ability to understand and use basic computer programs including email and MS Office. Extensive knowledge of construction best practices, OSHA and ADA guidelines. Ability to acquire and maintain DOT physical for company vehicle use. The Civil Estimator/Project Manager  is responsible for evaluating project plans, site visits, preparing project estimates utilizing estimating software for the public and private sectors. Essential duties and responsibilities: Estimating multiple projects and meeting predetermined bid dates Complete 2D and 3D project take-off using take-off software as required Managing multiple projects and meeting contractual completion dates Represent the company at the project site during construction, follow-up, and any concerns or challenges as they arise Monthly invoicing Cost tracking (comparing actual cost to estimated and adjusting as needed) Buy out and issue purchase orders/subcontracts Project submittals Plans all construction operations and scheduling to ensure deadlines are met with the assistance of the General Superintendent, Project Coordinator and Project Manager’s Assistant.
